According to DigiTimes , the companies contracted to build the parts that will make up the next iPhone are firing up their production lines. Industry sources tell DigiTimes that Taiwanese suppliers are ready to begin volume shipments of the iPhone 5 soon, with Foxconn already cranking out 150,000 units a day. The report states that Largan Precision (lens maker), TPK Holding (touch panel maker), G-Tech Optoelectronics (reinforced glass supplier), and Simplo and Dynapack (battery vendors) are “all operating at full swing capacity.” DigiTimes estimates that shipments of the iPhone 5 from this supply chain could reach 5-6 million in September and possibly over 22 million units in the fourth quarter
